XIAFLEX Injections for Dupuytren’s Disease
Hunter Hand Surgery are pleased to announce they are now offering Xiaflex ® (Collagenase Clostridium Histolyticum) injections for Dupuytren’s Disease.
Dr Burgess and Dr McClelland have both undertaken the approved training and are authorised to administer Xiaflex® injection according to the TGA guidelines. They have both already successfully treated Dupuytren’s contractures with Xiaflex® in patients within the Hunter Region.
Xiaflex® (Collagenase Clostridium Histolyticum) is a non-surgical treatment option for adults with Dupuytren’s contracture. Not every patient is suitable for Xiaflex® injection. If you would like to discuss if Xiaflex® is an appropriate treatment option for you, please make an appointment with Dr Burgess or Dr McClelland on 02 4920 6338.
